eBay Partner Network Archives

Starting next month (September), you’ll have additional characters–to include more keywords and descriptors to get your listings in front of more interested buyers. This change will take the item title character limit from 55 to 80. Be sure to start using all 80 characters in your listing titles as soon as they are available the first week in September.

Reach more buyers by using longer item titles. This is a much needed addition. Keywords in your listing title are a big factor in determining which listings are relevant to a buyer’s search. You’ve done your keyword research right? Well with the increase in the item title, you can better steer potential buyers into taking a closer look at your ebay listings.

Being a part of the eBay affiliate program allows you to promote eBay products of which you will receive a commission on the sell of the product. Promoting eBay can be done in a number of ways a few of which are via Pay Per Click (PPC), Blogging and Social Networks. The beauty of being an eBay affiliate versus selling your own product is that as an affiliate. You don’t have to sell anything, no shipping of goods, no taking orders and no inventory required.
